It's days like these that I miss getting out and taking photographs especially at such a fab venue as Rathmullan House. One of my faves for sure. There's a bit of a story behind this one and far too many photographs so bear with me!
Clare and Johnny planned their wedding for the weekend before the Donegal Rally. For some reason the rally was brought forward and it ended up being on the weekend of their wedding instead! A logistical nightmare for guests and anyone travelling as lots of the roads are shut! It worked out well though as Clare and her dad, who were leaving from Knockalla Fort, were the last cars allowed down the road before the rally. Everyone was out lining the route on the way to the church and the atmosphere was electric!
It was very fitting that they got married in Rathmullan as when Clare and Johnny first met it turned out that they both had the same picture of Portsalon beach on the wall of their houses as they both share a love of the area! The rest is history!
