Coming back from Oz to snow wasn’t exactly what Alicia & Sean had planned- however on the day the sun came out and charged everyone with the energy they needed for this colourful, happy, crazy party of a wedding which lasted till the wee small hours!! It’s always great to see couples bringing their personalities into their wedding. Alicia revealed her own little quirky sense of style with a beautiful loose side plait (more of these please ladies), purple painted nails and a gorgeous pair of shoes, which she designed herself, from shoesofprey. Her dress was simple and elegant with beautiful embellished detail on the sleeves and the back. Lots for me to play with as a photographer! Sean and the lads didn’t let the style down either with floral dickie bows made from fabric they liked and brought back from Australia.
There is always a lovely sense of celebration and appreciation of family and friends when a couple comes back home from Australia to get married.
It was lovely to see these two together, obviously so in love but very natural together at the same time. I can truly say that because these guys put so much of themselves into their wedding they were able to just be themselves and enjoy their day without feeling overwhelmed or awkward.
