If you follow my blog you’ll know that I shoot a lot of weddings at the stunning Lough Eske Castle Donegal. I see new photo opportunities at Lough Eske Castle each time I visit, depending on the personality of the bride and groom, the weather and even the time of year. Kate and Conan live in London and got a gorgeous Autumnal day for their wedding so I decided to use the beautiful rugged landscape around Lough Eske Castle for their wedding photographs. Weddings in Ireland are a big deal right? I know a lot of Kate and Conan’s guests travelled from England and further afield for the weekend. I don’t think they had ever quite experienced such a party!
Kate was very elegant, calm and beautiful in her Sharon Hoey gown and I particularly loved her little bit of girliness coming through in her sparkly Kate Spade Sella Heels with her candyfloss pink nail varnish. I enjoyed working with the super talented Hungarian Cinematographer Zsolt Barabas on this wedding as, although we had never met before, we were both on the same creative wavelength and bounced off each other all day.
Kate & Conan thank you for trusting me and letting me be creative- it looks like you enjoyed yourselves!?
