Kilronan Castle Wedding Photographer / Jenna & Jeremy

One of the perks of being a wedding photographer is the opportunity I get to see beautiful locations like Kilronan Castle.  I drove through 5 counties (some for only a short time) to get from Omagh to Kilronan in Roscommon.  To be honest I’m happy to work anywhere as long as the service is not a crazy distance away from the venue, as this eats into your photography time.  Do you really want to spend a few hours of your wedding day in a car?  Anyhow Jenna & Jeremy had the right idea to a relaxed wedding day!  They both spent the night before relaxing at the Castle with family and friends, got ready the next morning and had a lovely small service in the Palm Suite- it was perfect.

There’s a bit of a story behind how these two met which I know they won’t mind me sharing with you.  Jenna, originally from Sion Mills decided to go travelling a couple of years ago.  When she was in New Zealand one of her friends suggested they go to Australia-this wasn’t really on Jenna’s itinary but being the free spirited girl that she is she went with the idea.  While she was in Australia she started working in a mine and her boss suggested that she use his family as a point of contact as she was out there on her own at this stage.  She hooked up with his family on Facebook and met up with Jeremy (his son) one evening and the rest is history!  The man from the mine is now her father in law!!  How nice is that!?
