One of the things I love most about being an Engagement Photographer in Northern ireland is getting to know my brides and grooms. I also get to work at some of the most beautiful locations. Places that I might not normally have access to. I always encourage a Engagement Shoot.
For Aimee and Adam the choice of location was easy. Having originally considered having their wedding at Baronscourt it seemed the natural place to have their engagement photographs taken. Adam works in the gardens at the estate so they were looking especially well for the shoot! Even Ellie the dog came along!
What should I wear to my engagement session?
It’s good to wear something that reflects your personality. It’s also important to wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. Aimee and Adams casual style and natural colour tone worked well. With different coats and layers they were able to change their look slightly during the shoot. Some couples go for a more ‘dressed up’ style. It’s an individual choice.
The importance of the engagement session
It’s a great time to see your engagement photographer in action behind the camera. It’s also a chance for you to relax in front of the camera. Some brides use it as an opportunity to get a hair and make up trial It also ensures you are relaxed and confident with your photographer on your wedding day. What a lovely couple. Their story is pretty sweet. Adam was in Australia and Aimee was finishing Uni. Adam came home early to be with Aimee and now they have both returned to Australia to be together before the wedding. Now that we have had the engagement session both the couple and I can relax and look forward to the wedding at Galgorm Resort & Spa in 2017. A stylish one it’s going to be! Bring it on!!
