Back in June the doors of the Rusty Oven closed for a rare 2 weeks while Julie and Jonny prepared for their marquee wedding in Donegal. Otherwise known as #thepizzawedding!! Julie & Jonny run the best little pizza place on the Wild Atlantic Way – The Rusty Oven in Dunfanaghy, Donegal.
The setting was a LPM Bohemia marquee in Julie’s parents cottage garden – there is no doubt that planning a wedding at home involves so much more thought and preparation but I had no doubt that this hard working pair along with their bridal party, family and dedicated team of Rusty Oven helpers could do it despite 24 hours of incessant rain the day before! I’m so glad it cleared for us.
Wild and Free – I think these guys love this little piece of earth as much as me!
There was no end to the amount of effort, thought, love and creativity put into this wedding. From the hand made ceramic hare cake toppers to the hand drawn botanical invitations (all done by the bride). Did I mention Julie is a very talented ceramicist?
All in all this was a very creative wedding with a totally relaxed vibe. The kind I like to photograph!
